Off to Catalunya in March, so I'll need a few gallons of the Optimax equivalent of suncream to avoid being fried to a crisp.

Where's cheap for getting it? Had a look in Boots yesterday and it don't half seem pricey stuff. Anywhere on-line?

Sorry mate, but if it's ever a case of you get what you pay for, this is it. Boots own, Soltan, is good stuff. May look pricey but a little goes a long way.

You could always buy a little bottle here to do you to start with then buy the rest once you get there,always cheaper.

There's a crumby little discount toiletries and cosmetics place near me, in fact I've seen similar in lots of towns. They sell the Nivea stuff for about 1/2 to 2/3 the Boots price. Too true about getting it abroad - I stocked up in Miami Beach last year at just a few $ a bottle for good stuff.

I've used the Soltan stuff for years now and no problem, apart from the price! I've also been told to buy a new bottle each year as the compounds break down over time.
