Default Police crack down in cheshire

I have just driven to football and back, which is a round trip of about 20 miles, and i have seen 4 people getting pulled over, and 3 of the 4 were fast cars, i.e CTR, evo and an Escort Cossie.

Is there some sort of initiative on the go at the moment, as i usually dont see that many police cars in a month, 3 of the 4 cars were chase cars as well, and i never see them near where i live.

So heads up if you live in cheshire, as Macc and knutsford are busy with police tonight!

Good.

I'd rather see real police out and about, enforcing the law and exercising their discretion rather than more and more automated scameras.

But pulling everything in sight for one out of 52 weeks does nothing but annoy people, its a constant, if not so vigorously enforced, presence we need.

And they seemed to be pulling quick cars, not the polish sheds that drive around with no idea how to drive or park.

Sounds like an ANPR operation, intelligence led policing. Not looking for construction and use offences other than no insurance..

I agree it should be a constant activity but so should all the other police commitments like stopping burglaries, apprehending rapists and attending masonic rituals.

Thanks to the Labour government, Police officers have been replaced to a large extent by PCSOs. They have no such powers, but are cheaper and don't require much training.
Whether or not they attend masonic rituals is something I'll be guided by yourself on

PCSO's won't be pulling cars and arresting people.
