I had to spend my lunch hour today here in Northamptonshire digging out the snow in front of our garage (about 18 inches deep). My car's not seen the light of day for a fortnight, but I've got a business trip tomorrow morning and couldn't rely on Mother Nature doing the spade work for me.

I can see the kids' shrinking snowman lasting well into next week.
