My current employment situation is some what .. strange, I work for one company, that is hired by another company to hire staff for the client.

I've moved up twice in the last 2 years and have reached the top of where I want to be in regards to progression within 3rd party company.

I recently applied direct to the client for a position that pays just under twice my current wage and got a phone call yesterday asking me if I would also like to be considered for another role, same office just slightly different role .. and they want me in for interview next week to see which role I think would suit me more ....

things like this dont happen to me .. I never get not only a yes come to interview but we like the sound of you and want you to consider other roles ...

Fingers crossed for me then .. with a baby on the way I could really do with the money !

Good luck! Just remember that your contract probably states you are not allowed to work for the client without some serious penalties on the client side (and possibly yours as well).

Interview is at 12 today .. I'm all suited and booted and considering another loo run ... before I leave ..

 

Found out yesterday there are 6 applicants and 3 jobs .. two internal (one being me I assume )

Puts my odds up I guess ...

Interview did go well .. not sure how long after an interview you wait before you assume you didnt get it ..

Interview was Wednesday last week .. excluding weekend this would be 3 days since ...

It took them 20 days from application to offer me an interview.. I reckon I would have heard by now if I had got it, but its the not knowing that sucks ..
