On the 23rd Jan 2009 my credit card style D/L expired as I'd had it 10years!!!!

the new application came before Xmas, so last week I filled the form out got a new photo, ticked the correct boxes etc etc.

Then...... all I had to do was sign in the white box.... sign withing the lines!!!

So, I practiced dozens of times on a bit of paper.. went to sign in the lines of the 'small' box.

Guess wot!... my sig went out the blinking lines!!
read the instriuction booklet bout how to sign and it said if you sign out the box it will be sent back

In a hot sweat I crossed the signature and did another one next to it (if it was wrong it would be sent back anyway, so thought nothing to lose) but even my second signature I still did a wrong and went over the line.. not as bad.

Stuff it, I posted it off last Thursday night.



TODAY, my new card D/L arrived with the new signature on it... (not the one that i crossed out) lol


anyone else done the same... and had to re apply for their 2nd credit Card style D/L??

No....the DVLA are only asking those people who are are big spaz's and who cant sign their name to renew

Phil, you ought to try using a pen instead of a 4" wall brush.
