Does anyone on here have an allergy to dust mites?
how long have you had it? any tips or advice on minimising it?
had mine for about 4 months now after leaving uni and going into full time work, i think its the airt conditioned environment that has brought it up
funking annoying!
going to buy the emcur nasal douche .. seems to have good reviews.. anyone use it?

Yes mate i get it BAD sometimes!!
My eyes also get really itchy with it so have to use Boots allergy eye drops
And also take the allergy tablets from there too
The eye drops work every time but the tablets not always.
Ive put it down to dust when changing sheets and hoovering
& dogs and cats

Go to your doctor and see if you can get a steroid nose spray, which you can only get on prescription.
I got it about a month ago for "Persistent Rhinitis" (allergies) and it is fantastic. Sounds like a cliche, but it has changed my life. Way better than the anti-histamine tablets I was taking.
Only side-effect is dried blood inside one of my nostrils, but thats not a problem apparantly.

cheers guys
regarding the spray, its a steroid spray.. my uncle has had this allergy for over 15 years and he has told me not to even bother! as its much worse when you stop.
the reason i posted was to see how common it is as i dont know anyone with it apart from my uncle..
he says i should start with this.. nasal douche, completely natural and durg free and probs best thing hes ever used.. and he is a gym freak and health freak so tried eevrything
Sinus & Nasal Care System with Emcur
he said he started using it once a day and now he only has to do it once a week.
so ive ordered that today
then he said once the salts have run out, buy the sinuair powder here and mix urself as its cheaper and you get a handy nasal spray to keep with you which is good during day but not better than the douche he stressed lol
SinuAir Saline Powder / Cleansing Salts
he said thats all ill need and i hope hes right..
i know he also used air purifiers in his house aswell as dust mite proof covers for his bed plus laminate flooring.
hes give me a free desktop purifier to try out which is good for work and has helped the runny nose and sneezing, i just hope hes right about the above, lol he said they are ten times better than what any doctor can give you.
so no one on here tried any of the above?
