Obama
I listened to the new American Presidents speech today, and i really wanted to burst into tears after hearing it. But, it left me feeling..........well, not inspired. It had all the undertones of a great speech, but never really made it. I really felt dissapointed.

I thought it was poor as well! The actual swearing in was a bit of ****-up as well.
I know it's somehow seen as 'cool' to like Obama, but I don't trust the guy in the slightest and don't think he will be able to make any real changes.
The 'Obama bounce' was seen on the stock market as well.. DOW Jones closed down over 4%....

Distrustful of all politicians really but glad to see the back of Bush. At least Obama seems to have a degree of competence about him.
(and as an aside, how many people have the BBC sent to Washington?? Could have spent the money on more episodes of TG )
