We've been asked to put a cage in an evo 6 that currently is a 2.0ltr and puts out 850bhp ,the engine is now out ,and while the cage gets fitted it is getting upped to 1050bhp to become the worlds most powerfull 2.0 evo,if its true?

My VII was mapped conservatively at 565bhp and was totally unusable on the road... It was built by RC (at a cost of over £100k ) as a track car, and was devastating on track, but had a very narrow power band and was horrid on the road.
My Hawkeye STi is probably quicker point-to-point, as the Evo was far too lairy to make decent progress on anything other than a race circuit.
The last time I took it to Oulton it lit all four wheels up in 4th coming up Clay Hill - in the dry.
I've been out a few times with the 1000bhp RC cars- granted, it was in the early days when they'd only just started going for big power, but they never lasted more than a couple of laps.
