West country Hotels?
My beautiful girlfriend and I are going away for a few days in April, We thought we would have a run down to the west country, Can anyone recommend a nice hotel?
We want to be near a town, near the sea but not interested in clubs etc as I hear they wont let you in if your wearing slippers.
thanks in advance

Carlyon bay hotel- top class. Bit pricey but a nice treat. Went there for afternoon tea xmas eve...very civilised looking out to sea over their golf course.

Why use a hotel when you could have something like this.
Holiday Apartments Westward Ho! - Wow, Nassau Court - Blue Chip Vacations UK

Go look at Cornwall Coast - guide to beaches, walks for ideas. Also Cornwall CAM - Daily updated photographs & a weather report for piccies - check the archives.
Hotels? You could try The finest country hotel in Cornwall - not used it myself but it's in a great location (Helford Passage).
If you stop near Newquay/Padstow though then try Smugglers’ Den Inn - Pub, food and drink in Cubert, Newquay, Cornwall
But enjoy!
