Visit the Europa centre (in the west), a good irish bar in there.It's just off the Ku-damm and great bars/clubs/shops/restraunts etc... Also a big club in wedding, called, jo's has a small fairground outside, to play on when your lasahed. In the East, Alexander platz used to have some great bars, one called the Lucky Strike, where the waitress go round the tables on roller boots
. Mitte, which is also in the East has some very good bars and clubs. One bar the Oscar Wilde is where U2, did the shoot for the Zoo Album. And Tresors (club) is next door, theres lots of bars and clubs in the East, i much prefer it to the West. Best bet is to, just land yourself in the east, start off at mitte on the orainunburger strasse, oscar wilde is on the corner of it up from the theater. You can easily walk to alexander platz and mitte centrum from there. Iv'e been all over Europe working and it's the greatest city in europe, easily. Check before you go to see if the E-Work has re-opened, i took my wife there (it's a club or was) and it absoloutley blew her away.

I went a few years back for a stag weekend with some mates.
It was the complete muts dangles dog bollox
A couple of the guys were stationed there whilst in the forces in the early nineties so we had some great local knowledge
I'll email one of them to get the names of some of the places we went to.
