Default Silverstone F1 Tickets?

Looking to book weekend tickets for this year.....

For those of you who have ordered tickets before, is Silverstone (on line), the best/cheapest place to get them from?? I have been searching around but can't find them cheaper than £279 for "Luffield A" from Fri-Sun.

As far as I'm aware it's the only place?

They did an early-bird offer shortly after the last british GP but they soon sell out. E-bay maybe?

You'd get a better deal going to a European GP.

I have looked into that as well but by the time you have got there (road or air) payed for hotels etc it works out more. Ticket prices for the entry may work out a bit cheaper but we will be staying for a few days so this takes the price up some what.

I will go with the 3rd option

Where did you find that price of £150 for three days? That for a seat or general admission?

Unless you take in a race as part of a holiday to maximise the value of the travel and accommodation....

When Imola was on the calendar, I could fly there, get a hire car, a 3 day pass and a hotel for about the same price as a ticket on Sunday at Silverstone.

Silverstone is a complete rip off, but then as it is in the UK that is no surprise.

Got my ticket to the Aus GP in a prime grandstand for less than general admission at Silverstone.

Think I will do the usual and see it on the box. It would be nice to go but that really is too expensive. I will enjoy myself at the Goodwood Revival instead.

I've been the lat 5 years running, but not this year. Just too expensive. I've always got my tickets direct from Silverstone.
