Film Scenes That Make You Cringe
Apart from the obvious horror/ slasher films, what film scenes make you cringe?
I want to watch Casino again but there are two parts that I know will have me covering my eyes and squealing and it's putting me off watching the film.
Trainspotting, the toilet bit *puke*
American History X, great film but not one I ever want to see again, the sound of teeth on concrete....
Saving Private Ryan, the first twenty minutes is indeed very hard viewing but the bit that messed with my head was the part where there is a one-on-one fight and the good guy gets stabbed in the heart very slowly
And, a cheesy one, Escape To Victory. They seem to show it on TV every Christmas and I hate the bit where they have to injure the goalie so Stallone can take his place.

Well some things get to people in different ways. The rack was pretty bad, but I found the power saw in Saw V worse as they had to do it to themselves. Yuk!!! Good film though - well if you like the Saw series that is before I get jumped on by all and sundry.

Most of the Japanese film audition is just plan screwed up and makes you wince !
One of the scene that makes me cringe the most if the bit in the thing where windows is giving a blood sample to test, how deep does that knife go and it looks so real. I don't mind blood at all but you can just imagine the pain.

The single worst film moment in history happens in Armageddon.
"Miss Stamper? Colonel Willie Sharp, United States Airforce, Ma'am. Requesting permission to shake the hand of the daughter of the bravest man I ever met"
You ****.

Most stuff with adults I can handle, and the more implausible and gory the more silly it gets and thus less disturbing. However, since becoming a father I don't like seeing kids in peril. The little boy tossed back into the burning shack in John Rambo (Rambo 5) and a similar scene in Apocalypto made me cringe.

Four weddings and funeral end scene where its p1ssing it down outside and Hugh Grant spews his guts out to the American chick and the line "...Is it raining? I hadn't noticed....!" argh!!!!
