A BIG thank you to Funkii Munkii - a true gent!
As some of you know I bought the Funkmobile yesterday from our Funkii friend Dave
I paid for it by same day bank transfer (CHAPS) yesterday as the funky one is now residing in the land of Oz. My intention was to to pick the car up today from his sister's house once the funds had cleared, however, by this morning when Dave checked in with his bank they couldn't confirm that the payment had reached his account Useless bloody bank, grrr Not only did it mean having to put off picking it up for another week but it also meant that I would have to cancel the service I have it booked for this coming Monday
So, an email or two later and Dave very kindly said that he trusted me enough to pick it up anyway despite not knowing whether the money had cleared into his account. What a gent!! I didn't even have to ask him to do that, he just offered!! I was extremely pleased and very, very grateful
It really warmed the cockles of my heart to know that in this selfish day and age there are still people willing to put their trust in others
So Dave Sir, I salute you, not only is the car wonderful but you are an absolute gentleman and I really appreciate what you did for me today
Love and hugs

Surprisingly maybe most peeps are honest and trustworthy. With all the dealings Ive had with s/netters I have never once been ripped off or let down by anyone.
