Default camcorder recommendations

Hi

Looking to bag a bargain in the sales, I am after a full HD camcorder.

Anyone got any recommendation to share ?

I know I could look on AV Forums, but its a bit too intense on there for me....

Thanks

Depends on how much you want to spend?

I have just got a solid state Sony TG3 - comes with a 4gb card so plenty of movie time out of the box.

It is small, point and shoot and produces full HD with 5.1 sound. It is 1080i output.

Very, very good product with very image quality - Carl Zeiss lens. Good, large viewfinder screen.

It is also very small and light. They are currently around £415 on Amazon - not sure what you will get in the sales.

Well - £415 is less than 5-600

It was the best combination of size and capability that I saw sub £500.
