So how would you deal with it?

When I was at school teachers would deal with day to day situations themselves and as kids we generaly had respect for their authority. Now it seems that teachers have their hands tied (for fear of prosecution) and have to call the police.

Apparently the biggest problem isn't from the kids themselves, it's from the parents of said *******, who believe that mere teachers should have no right to reprimand thier little treasures

Hear hear to that, but then boxing is no longer accepted owing to health and safety grounds.

Controlled aggression has to be the way forward though? It gets rid of the pent up emotions without the youths getting badly hurt or dying.
