Africa... Zimbabwe...
That place REALLY get's on my feckin ****...... HIV, AIDS, cholera, starvation, crime, death.....
I seem to recall it was a rather pleasent place to visit prior to the ELECTION of that tool Mugabe. All the resident people that rejoiced in the re-distribution of white farmers land to locals (in many cases robbing, attacking, raping and even killing a couple of them) are now completely fecked....
Drop a feckin bomb on the place and do us all a favour.

Ah - good to see the Christmas spirit flowing
Agreed Mugabe is an evil, evil, evil man.
But 99% of the population are warm and friendly, if very uneducated, people. But look at what they have had to put up with. Farms were taken over by Mugabe's "war veterans" aka gun toting thugs.
Sorry Sara but I completely disagree. I had many trips to the old Rhodesia and some to the embryonic Zimbabwe and it was a fabulous place.
So I think the suggestion of genocide is a little uncalled for

The outlook is depressing. But Africa needs help, not bombing. If all troubled and less useful area deserve to be bombed, what are the nursing homes full of vulnerable elderly doing here in the UK? Should they be bombed too, as they are costing the tax payers a hell of a lot of money, and there's no use by keeping the elderly going?
No.
Let's wish Africa some peace this Christmas. Hope things get better for African citizens in coming years, and hope we do what we can, for their welfare. And, let's wish for Mugabe to depart from this world in 2009.

We hear about a lot because its a former colony and there is ,whether you like it or not,.a vested interest in describing how despotic their leader is in a simalar to the way Saddam was vilified

There is certainly a population problem but I rather suspect that global warming will finish the whole world off in a century, well before that is resolved. dl

let the Africans sort it out. Its not like its affecting us. If they want to stop it they will. If they had accepted out rule years ago etc and we had still been in power most of Africa would be better off. The current State of Africa has nothing to do with what took place years ago.
Mugabe is one wealthy bugger. he will be very very welcome in france for sure ! The chances of him ever been killed is almost nil . he has excellent security and not all of them are black !
