Mercedes Benz Service
Took the wifes ML into Mercedes Solihull yesterday, to have a couple of things checked out. The service manager, came back to me with a price to sort it out
. I told him errr no, i'll take it to an indi, it'll be half the price.
Well he only turned round and said he will match the indi's price and throw in a valet
.
It's booked into the Merc dealers for friday. What a fantastic attitude. Hats off to Mercedes Solihull.

Their backs must be up against the wall Paul. Mercedes have been pilloried for the last decade for their poor service and for charging like a raging bull!

this thing annoys me,
he had a first attempt at securing the business, now he wont even bother opening the bonnet and will get some spotty oik to rub gritty water all over the bodywork.
sounds like a good deal.... lol

Reminds me of our house insurance.Renewal came through for £400.Got another quote for half that and they instantly said they would match it.
Why not be honest in the first place with a proper price?

I think like most things, they will try it on and most people would'nt even dare think of challenging them. The worst that can happen is that they say no.

a lad i work with has an 02 e200k.
its full of rust, absolutely rotting away, arches badges boot rain gutters, its done 235000, and he still insists on getting its services done at mercedes.
