I got a motocross bike this weekend!
We finally found me a MX bike this weekend and luckily today I had my first ride on it. I haven't stopped smiling since
It's a 2006 CR 125 and feels really nice to ride. Being a typical girly, I am having a few problems starting it, my excuse is I'm not very flexible at my age and getting my leg up is quite hard
Hoping to go out again next weekend, but fouled the plug, so it was a long push back to the car. I need to give it some more welly apparently
To anyone who thinks they are too old to start a sport, I would say go for it, the more you put it off, the harder it gets. I'm not quite ready for racing, but I am having fun

Yeah, I dunno if that's really for me! The usual MX injuries are collarbone, arms, wrists, legs etc. Seen all of them this season at races, but the nutters who race usually want to get back on the bike, even though their arm's hanging out of its socket

Good luck, Clare you will love it. There were 3 of us in the family racing at the same time too, every weekend up and down the country for years.
Seriously consider a Leatt brace or similar though won't you.

Nice - you aint David Knight are you
I really fancy one again now too - I've been working on Red Bull Knock Out 652 bikes on a massive man made course the beach in Holland. 120 finished. Carnage but amazing. Even Dougie Lampkin had a go this year. On a telly near you soon
You are never too old!!! Good on ya.
