Christmas Spend
A recent survey said that on average we spend over £500 each on xmas each year. This figure includes going out etc.
Certainly for me you couldn't be further from the truth. I paid £5 for a meal in our staff canteen and only have to buy 5 presents (ave £30 each). I think I've been suckered in to providing a christmas meal for my family (8) so thats a further drain.
So SNs ***** wavers, how much are you spending?

Me and Mrs, 50 on each other, about 250 on the rest on the family (9 people), maybe extra 40 on food on top of the usual budget.
So about 400 all in for two peeps (we never go out )

We try and impose a limit on what we spend on the kids so this year it is £100 each x 3. I have been a little naughty this year for the g/f as I have exceeded what I normally spend on her by ..ohhh lets just say a bit
(she reads these boards so cant say too much )
Dont go out that much so in all probably around £600 ish

Well we usually set a £50 limit for me and the wife {but I always spend 3 or 4x that on her as she has to put up with me } for the kids its usually about £200 - £250 ish but this year about £100 of that will be money so they can by things they want themselves, funny how things change as they get older lol.
