From tomorrow Tescos are offering Glen Morangie at £16 per bottle (boxed). Usually £38
For the uninitiated Morangie is a very classy single malt

quite like talisker myself, a good malt on a freezing cold night is superb,
il ike mine with loads and loads of ice in,
the first sip blows your cobwebs away, then as they melt it becomes lovely
mmmmmmm

Hey, I'm not just a JD monster, I also like a nice single malt you know I have completed several days of extensive testing of the products on offer at numerous Scottish distilleries and have found them to be very satisfactory

Yes you are, only proper alkies would drink west coast whisky
I like Glenmorangie - but the standard (10 or 12?) only costs about £20 normally - so which is the one reduced from £38? £16 is a good price regardless.
BTW, Mortlach is probably my favourite, although tricky to find these days. Highland Park will do nicely, Glenfarclas as mentioned above is an absolute bargain in most guises - sorry 'expressions', and most Speysides are OK with me.
