Can anyone recommend a good cheap hotel in the city centre? Sensible answers no dodgy ones!

 

I stayed at the Hotel Hortus: http://www.hotelhortus.com/
It is nice and cheap, 60 guilders a night in old money which worked out to about 16-18quid. It's nice and clean and about a 10min walk from the rembrantsplein etc (city centre).
I went with a few mates and we all shared one HUGE room.

P.S. it's also smoker friendly
