Chicane - Best Of
Got my hands on a copy of this in the last week and it reminded me why I already own a good amount of Chicane's music.
Not sure what pigeon hole it fits into but I think of it as ambient/chill out and it is some of the best of its genre.
For a best of it's great featuring remixes and the likes and is a nice compliment to Far from the Maddening Crowds and Behind the Sun, some of the best electronic music ever made in my opinion.
Neither CD has been far from my CD player in all the years I have owned them.

Chicane made some of the best chillout/ambient/trance tunes of the 90's.
Everyone knows 'Saltwater', 'Offshore', 'Don't Give Up' etc... but one of my favs was the "Heliotropic" remix of 'Lost You Somewhere'.
Got a set he played in 2000 from Palladium (22-01-00) on my PC hardrive. Belter. Loved the original work he did and also some of the mixes of his tracks by folk like the Thrillseekers, Disco Citizens etc.
Classic, classic stuff. Fond memories as a young teenager

Mmmm Chicane. Have to say it's very much my cup of tea. I've got "Behind The Sun", *cough* "Easy to Assemble" *cough* , "Far From The Maddening Crowds", "Visions of Ibiza" and "Saltwater", so is there anything new or rare on the Best of CD?
