So, how many others have received their nice letters from Auto-Q?

First, they offer all owners of bankrupt Telematix E-Guard a replacement tracker system for £75 installation + £80 annual monitoring fee. Now they send everybody a letter saying sorry, the E-Guard units aren't particularly reliable, so we're not going to reconnect them any more. But, tell you what, buy one of our units and all your problems will be solved. Knock down price sir? Er, no, sorry. So will that be £400 then? No. £500? Think again. £600? Fraid not. £700? Getting closer sir. £800? Nearly sir. £870 is what Auto-Q are now asking to track your car.
Please, if there's anyone on here who has either paid this ridiculous sum, or is even thinking seriously about it, take a step back and stop yourself. £900 quid?? They have GOT to be joking.
The Telematix E-Guard farce is one episode of Scoob ownership i'd rather forget, but to have sand kicked in your face by outfits like Auto-Q puts icing on the cake.

telboy,

my mota had one on it when i got it. i have a tracker now but i still have this eGaurd sapping my battery. i cant find the flippin thing.

i can believe they want that much to fit a new system. what sort of a f*ckin helmet would pay that sort of cash after loosing money to the original company.

big bear,

i may have mis-understood your reply but eGaurd have gone bust. the eGaurd system has not been working since august 2001.

Yeah I received a letter and to be honest I ignored it.....
Auto Q seem worse than Telematix (IMHO) so I'm not dealing with them.
