I've got executive Private Health Care, Band 1 (I think) from work from PPP, which includes travel insurance
PPP are bloody good and quite cheap. When we were on Holiday in Spain last year our villa got broken into whilst we all were asleep. They sods stole loads of little bits up to the value of about £600, when I got back into the UK, PPP sorted it all out for me.

The only telephone number I have for PPP at the moment is 0800 364524

Not knocking the staff, but the NHS sucks at the moment IMHO, so private cover is a must if you can afford it.

Had to use BUPA a lot last year. Can throughly recommend them although I'm with PPP now (through work). The thing about BUPA is that if you need to make a claim you don't have to fill out any paperwork. You just phone them and they can approve it there and then. Trust me, when you're ill the last thing you want is to do loads of form filling! Telephone staff were totally professional and discrete too.

If I was to take out a policy of my own now it'd be with BUPA.
