Default On the same flight as Tony Blair

I'm just sitting in the BA lounge at San Francisco airport and Tony Blair is here looking a bit haggard.

It is full of security, so I'm assuming (hoping!) this will be a safe flight.

I would find it very difficult not to take the opportunity to tell him face to face what I thought of his method of government.

It was 'till you advertised it here, now there will be hordes of RPG holding Snetters waiting at Heathrow for a chance to shoot it down

I'm sure he'd also welcome the opportunity to tell you what it's like trying to govern a media opinion led society, full of cynical, and self absorbed know it alls.

Blair never gave a flying **** about the people who voted him into power

Paraphrasing BLiar "God will be my judge"
I believe that the muslim suicide bombers believe pretty much the same thing

You state these things with such certainty, the truth is you don't know this, it's just what I said earlier OPINION, and sniping

Glass hosues mate - so you know what TB thinks then do you, the truth is you do not know - back at ya!

Try
TA: Tony Blair, God
Quote
Prime Minister Tony Blair said that 'a god' will judge him for deciding to join President George W Bush in March 2003 when the two nations invaded Iraq.

Blair was questioned about his decision as the third anniversary of the invasion approaches and occupying forces have yet to claim an exit strategy.

President Bush has, on several occasions, remarked about his faith, and how his god led him to believe invading both Iraq and Afghanistan were "the right thing do."

Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan, who have rebelled against occupying forces, claim their god is the driving force behind suicide bombs and fighting against the Christian West.

For a televised interview, aired on ITV1 in Great Britain, it is the first time Blair has inferred that a god would judge his decision-making. Great Britain is the United State's lead ally in Iraq, and has lost 103 soldiers, whereas the states have lost 2,302.

"That decision has to be taken and has to be lived with, and in the end there is a judgment that...I think if you have faith about these things then you realize that judgment is made by other people," Blair told ITV1 host Michael Parkinson.

"If you believe in God, it's made by God as well," Blair said.

I suppose that you will never get a straight answer out of a slime-ball like Blair and read into it what you want...

Well, all those RPG's missed as the 'plane arrived more or less on time at Heathrow and I'm at home finally.

He just looked grumpy. He would wander off ignoring everyone and a bunch of security would come scurrying after him.

I still remember him replying to an aide who was telling him that a bunch of disabled people were waiting to speak to him during the build up to the 1997 election "Where's the votes in that?"

Said it all to me!

If only I could post rate

I would of said any flight with a high profile person on board would be much less safe than your average flight. Have a nice flight

Whatever anyone says or thinks, I can never forgive him for dragging this country into the mire.

I nearly collapsed laughing at his missuss the bird scarer!
