TBH i am sick of the sight of air craft as of where i live and it would be nice just for one day not to hear the dam things or even see them. Everytime i drive out the gate theres 1 plonked on a mud head for viewing!

When they were delivering the second TSR2 to Boscombe Down for its test flying the transporter driver went round a tight turn too fast at the airfield and it fell off. It cracked the fuselage and wrote it off. The driver ran away!

Nope, it was, supposed, to be stationary.

Pilots left the flight deck in the middle of a engine test. Plane crept forwards, pilots couldn't get back quick enough, and...... oh dear.

Was it not the last one of that model they intended to build? When it happened I thought I'd read that the manufacturers couldn't replace the plane as there wasn't anyother being built.

In fact the A340-600 had not even flown yet, it was undergoing a powerplant check.......even worse!

By the way, what was trying to pick up what in the pictures?

The A340-600 has proper engines and looks like a Cohiba!
