Default Mr I.Legal

Hope this might cheer a few of you up,one of my neighbours flames, polish I think... ,untaxed car clamped this very hour, damn why did I go out..
Pity he's a nice bloke, early morning calls trying to park or slamming car doors, usually around 2am.
Something's wrong with it as he has to over rev it,they asked if I would fit a clutch cable,I said weigh it in but they said it was worth tooooooooooooo much..not now perhaps...

Funny thing is, the Polish guy who had his car clamped could probably write better English.

FlightMan

Just about deciphered it....it was the small "p" in polish that lead me to think it was the Meguires variety. "Flames" took me a bit longer as I was expecting to see the car alight but eventually settled it being a substitute for girlfriend.

I guess the "nice bloke" comment was irony

Does that help

Think I got the gist of it, but what's the flames bit and "weigh it in" mean?

Ok, I think he meant this :

My neighbour's Polish girlfriend has had her untaxed car clamped. Unfortunately I wasn't there to witness it. My neighbour isn't a very nice chap : he slams the car door & revs the engine very loudly at unsociable hours. He thinks there is a problem with the car which necessitates him revving it so much. He asked me to fit a new clutch cable but I told him the car is not worth the cost of the new cable and should be scrapped. However, my neighbour disagrees.
