Default US Adventurer, Steve Fossett. Be he alive or be he dead?

We all know that he disappeared supposedly without a trace whilst flying a small aircraft last year. He was legally declared dead sometime earlier this year. Now a hiker in Eastern California has come across certain items of Fossetts in a wood. These include ID cards and his jumper.

The location is around 100 miles from where he took off and is in a different direction from where he should have been. And so far no sign of any plane wreckage of derbis has been spotted in the area. His lawyers aren trying to verify the information apparently.

So do we think he crashed and died? Or is something else going on??Bit strange that if these are his items, they have been found together in a rugged mountain area, but with no immediate sign of wreckage..BBC NEWS | World | Americas | Found items may be Fossett clue

Would have thought so after she pushed for him to be declared dead earlier this year.
He was starting to have money “issues” and had a long term mistress etc etc. I believe he tried the 'fake you own death' ploy, but it went horribly wrong. He’s either starved to death or they will find his half gnawed body after becoming a bears mid morning snack
