lets start a new political party......
lets start a new political party......
that DOESN'T ENCOURAGE.........
1. marriage and stable family life/upbringing
2. having a full time job and working hard to get on in life
3. saving money for a rainy day or for the little luxuries in life
lets start a new political party......
that DOES ENCOURAGE
1. leaving skool at 16 with no qualifications and having a child or three and not having the means to provide for it.
2. worklessness
3. you to spend everything you have and get given as we will give you more
Advantages of voting for us
Stay single and we'll provide you with a house and spending money for you and your sprog/s.
Don't worry about trying to get into or back into work as we'll give you more money than you could earn anyway as you have no qualifications.
We'll also provide your council house with all mod cons and FREE WiFi connection 24/7.
FREE, dental care + prescriptions... as long as you don't try to work!!
oh, sorry just realised we already have this political party running the country anyway!!
rant mode off
Just sick of working all hours, being careful with my money and sensible with my realistic choices to end up paying for everything some other people get for free.

I can't believe the state this Country is in. I too am fed up to the back teeth of paying and paying. I can see the next thing will be, our wages are given to the Government and they will give us a bit of pocket money back.
I really wish someone would assasinate, Brown. Sorry to be harsh, but he was not voted in and is not wanted.

What exactly did the people expect when they voted Labour?? This is what the party has always been about. Its a fecking living nightmare seeing near 50% of your income taken away and given to lazy chavs.
I won't even start on their frankly horrific immigration policy....

Simple fact 50% of your salary demonstably isn't being given away to 'lazy chavs', stop using baseless soundbites

The Labour party is doomed if Mc Broon remains. Very good, I hope we've seen the back of these rodents for a generation.
What is more worrying is that the country is doomed if they remain in power for two more years. Thirteen years of socialism will reduce us to poverty, much as forty years of the same did to most of Eastern Europe. Not to mention the sheer evil behind their social engineering and moral bankruptcy.

Socialism?????
Do you even know what that is?
Once again by way of balance, this country's economy is in fact £300bn bigger per year than it was 11 years ago. Also remember that living standard in the UK are higher now than at any time in our history, these aren't soundbites they are facts.
Whilst I agree this government as run out of time, luck, ideas and energy, they deserve credit for many things.
To suggest that this is a socialist government would therefore mean that Tony Blair is/was a socialist, or even that David Cameron is a socialsit (given he aint about to change much)
BTW what social engineering are you refering to? or is that just another soundbite?

Also I suspect that we were paying more tax to the feckless and workshy when we had 3 million people unemployed.....
Check the numbers on tax though, I'm fairly certain that the tax % taken hasn't changed much in the last 20 years

Regardless of where the money we pay in taxes goes Labour are a bunch of useless people {in the majority} working hard and paying my taxes I have 2 choices I either accept it or I leave the country, eitherway I get to sleep well at night knowing I am not a scrounging bast.
I would never vote for Labour, however I do think in my opinion that even the conservatives if given enough time will create their own problems as if any party has enough time in ower things will go wrong for them. TBH the best thing to happen in this country is get something different in power and hopefully they will get it right.

And how much of that growth is down to the lending of monies to those who cannot and will not pay it back i wonder?
I do wonder how living standards will change ovet the next 24 or so months as the credit cruch bites harder along with the energy companies doing as they wish with no windfall tax to help those who need help the most.

But wages have increases significantly ahead of inflation so people (on average) are better off.

BTW I agree we should be taxing the energy companies more

It is quite apparent that Broon as a fundamental old guard socialist who is incapable of seeing the world through other than the eyes of his political ideology. His speech was full of motherhood and apple pie to the point of being nauseous. The primary issue of the economy did not feature and the few bribes thrown to the client electorate will no doubt be of minimal value as there is no money. We criticise the bankers but why should Brown leave office after his massive theft and waste of billions of taxpayers money with a gold plated pension and possible knighthood + all the trimmings?

The stupid tw@ts still insist it's less than 4%, whreas everyone I know is paying nearly 20% more for the stuff we HAVE to have since last year. I can't think of many people's wages that went up by that much? Except maybe city traders/top bosses?

All this Goverment cares about is retaining power, it doesn't care what the man in the street wants, they will say what they have to say to wriggle out of their f**k ups. as long as they can lead the lifestyle they are accustomed to then they are quite happy to carry on regardless
This was a very interesting read last week.
This just about sums up this Goverment.
