Where's the 'none of them' option? If I was starving, desperate and had already chewed my arms and legs off then maybe I would
Having said that I've never had a Subway, last ate in KFC in about 1985, Pizza Hut about 1990 and McDs about three years ago (it was rank) so maybe they've improved now?
Give me a nice falafel salad wrap and grande vanilla latté from Starbucks any day

It's a bit weird this one for me. Depends on what mood me and or the Mrs are in.
Examples...
If I want something really quick and nice 'n' greasy, ie hangover food, it's Maccy D's all the way. Proper settles a sespit stomach...mmm yum!!
If I want the above but without the hangover and grease, it's Burger King. Basically better burgers and less salty chips.
KFC is the same as Burger King if me and the Mrs fancy chicken. Usually polish off a bargain bucket between us as a treat.
Haven't had a Subway for a while so can't really comment.
Pizzahut is my current favourite though. Me and Nat can go there, sit down in relative pleasentness (apart from one or two chavs), order starters each, share a main pizza, and have a shared desert & drinks for under £30. Been to Pizzahut twice, once for my birthday and more recently a week ago. Both times the food and service has been excellent. Honestly, I was suprised at how polite and helpful the staff are compared to other eat-in establishments we've been too. Foods always hot and tasty, and we usually leave a little tip on the end of about £1-2

Local Kebab place, Chicken Kebab, none of your Donner much, just grillec Chicken and Salad, Donner is nice but coranary death on a Sh1tty stick.
KFC, random dead things fried in breadcrumbs, pretty nasty, never mind the inner city sub KFC outlets like "Krunchy Chicken", only acceptable if about to die from hunger or alcohol.
Pizza Hut, used to love it but cant face it now, seeing the state of the Ice Cream Factory at the one at Parrs Wood in Didsbury made me fear for the state of the kitchens, anyway, do we really need Cheese filled, Cheese Crust Pizza ?
Nando's is where its at.....
Subway, dont mind but I go next door for my Chicken Kebab, order it (15 minutes) and the scuttle off to the Tapas bar for a glass of Sauvngnon Blanc rather than wait in the Kebab shop, much more civilised and I get in less punch ups, what is it about Kebab shops that makes people so prone to violence ?
Our local McDonalds has been closed down, rarely used it but sometimes you get that urge and then I miss it, as a slightly more expensive substitute a Gourmet Burger Kitchen opened, that though several times more expensive is much better.

I'm banned from my local KFC. It's a small outlet and I heard one of the staff comment that, "you couldn't swing a cat in here."
To which I replied:
"No, but you could fry one, I'll bet!"

Good call on Wendy's there Bob. mmm Baconator! No salad Sal? Perhaps that's the yank ones for you, the Cannuck ones certainly do have a salad, plus you can swap fries for a baked potato or chili.
A few other options to add to the poll would be:
Harvey's
A&W (mmm, Grandpa Burger, Onion Rings and Root Beer, lovely)
Sonic
Hardee's (mmm, Monster Thickburger with curly fries)
Jack In the Box
Quizno's (Like Subway, only better in some respects)
Burger King (Odd that it's not on the list already)
New York Fries
Arbys (Chicken Bacon Swiss, Curly Fries and Mozzarella sticks, or a nice Roast Ham and Swiss market fresh sandwich)
White Castle (small but perfectly formed burgers)

Locally, Geno's in St Helens makes pizzas that make you take pity on Pizza Express and Dominos : Their kebabs are the best I have eaten too. Call a Pizza is quality locally too. Half the price (as are genos) than Dominos for better flavour and quality - trememdous...
Nandos is something we dont have in Tellins as there is no call for Halall meat in this town. Fancy going to a restaurant (as opposed to a takeaway)only to be able to order chicken, chicken or chicken It's just KFC with wooden tables... I only had the misfortune once - in the trafford centre - due to meeting some muslim clients there... I was embarrassed.
Burger King just doesnt cut the mustard with its burgers IMO but me and my bro debate this often and can never agree as he doesnt like Maccies...
I cant understand what the attraction is of Subway - it's such a big chain now - to buy a butty... A poor quality butty. Bakers galore, everywhere, freshly baked, locally sourced produce etc for less money... It's taken fast food addiction to a whole new level.
So from the options on the poll I went for Maccies - consistent, enough variety, good fries, decent price, quality of staff have IQ in double figures, as opposed to KFC where they stick to single figures only and happy meals are fun

I prefer a local proper sarnie shop for a packed out belly-buster jumbo t-cake with bacon, sausage, egg, tom, mush and ketchup for less than £3. Apart from their coffee which is acceptable, no better, there's nothing I would choose to eat in McD's. Tried it several times over the years and always come away disappointed. BK's Whoppers and Angus's are way better than Big Mac's IMHO, as long as you get them at a time when they're flame grilling, otherwise they just microwave up ones that have been stood. BK coffee is crap though !
