Yankee Stadium closes forever tonight

Anyone else know this was happening

Fume on! Always wanted to go therre and it's being torn down now, gutted.

Yep, went there last year and the new stadium was being built.

Yeah theres a guy does the American sports round up on Talk sport every friday, he mentioned it. I think it was because they could'nt upgrade it much more as the land around the stadium is all tied up and would'nt allow for it.

Great shame, went there a few years ago - safest place in NYC on game day - the rest of the time, duck!!!
