Question Best place to buy vinyl online?

I'm starting a bit of a vinyl collection, framing and mounting my favourites on my wall. Started off with David Bowie, got a few others on order - Traveling Wilburys, New Order, Rolling Stones - basically the music I grew up listening to, right the way up to more recent stuff like Oasis.

Just wondered if anyone knew of any vinyl stores online that stock rare vinyl and ones that are a bit more reasonably priced for the not so rare.

Cheers

Claire

Besides ebay which can herald some bargains, try...

www.chemical-records.co.uk
www.rareanddeleted.com
www.vinyltap.co.uk
www.vinylrecords.co.uk

Used the above myself, but I've only got dance vinyl. Some proper rare classics, something I'll never part with even though I mix 90% cd's now.

Cheers dude

DJ wise CDs are the way forward, if you don't embrace the digital revolution you will be left behind. Vinyl should be kept for classics

Depends on what you are looking for. I've got loads lying around the house. Gave hundreds away to my brother, I should have been shot. He got some real rare one off me too, bet he sold them on ebay

Being a full time student and a single parent to a child who is going through their terrible twos at the moment I find it pretty difficult to get out and do that. If I could I would!

Cheers for the links

TBH you could probably sniff out better bargains online these days anyway, plus you can do it in your slippers whilst sipping a lovely brew
