Ah religion, got to love how it brings people together in times of adversity, NOT!
Reading the comments, there is so much religious horse pukey and hatred going on, never mind the poor sods that have been affected. I wonder what difference you'd see if they were to build homes out of breeze blocks, and I don't mean those cheap hollow jobbies, or the thermalite ones either, but real solid 9x4's, cavity built. I guess that's one of the reasons homes are relatively cheap to construct compared to Europe.

Exactly, and not only limited to that! Places prone to flooding, New Orleans. Places likely to be destroyed by volcanoes, Naples. Places prone to severe earthquakes in large population areas, Istanbull. The list is endless.
