Looking to save a little money
So I'm thinking of going with Virgin media on one of their offer packs.
Basically I spend £18 a month on my Virgin media broadban connection, but I'm thinkg of getting the 2 for £25 bundle which includes the large tv package. Not sports or movies but about the same as my current package with Sky @ £17 p/m.
So I could save £10 a month which makes a big difference to me currently. Any ideas on special offers or how mcuh it would be to have say sports in the package? IF I could get more channels for what I'm paying now, I can justify it if that makes sense, I.e get more channels and still not pay over £35 combined like I am currently.
Advice appreciated

Pull the viewing card out of your Sky box and see which channels you still get - you might be pleasantly surprised, most of the Freeview ones are there. IIRC even if your viewing card has expired it'll still work for CH4 and CH5 too.

If I could I'd go with Sky and get the whole internet/TV/phone thing but unfortunately we can't get that here. In fact we can't even get Freeview here
We pay £19 a month for t'interweb and £39 a month for Sky. Shocking really in this day and age

Ok, so just rang them up 3 times, and every time I got an Indian man/woman.
Is there a specific time you can call or a specific extention where you can speak to an English speaking person
I know most companies use foreigners now, but it's bloody impossible to understand on the weak *** connection

A-ha
Rang up a sales number and got some English dude called Gary.
Arranged for Oct 1st installation
total cost = £35.50 p/m which includes my 2mb broadband and the x/l tv package. Currently paying £35 so for 50p a month I'm getting music channels and also setanta sports - bargain. Nats working overtime this weeks so that will pay the £30 installation fee.
Sorted. Will ring up Sky Sept 30th and tell em to **** off
