From a Barryboys thread, quoting a scrappy Escort for sale on eBay...
Good Bits: All doors have been de-handled, access via solenoids.
Bad points: The solenoids have stopped working, so i have spent £200 on a full complete solenoid kit with door popper's & remote opening, but due to my lack of electrical knowledge & funds, I have not fitted them, so at the moment access is gained through the boot, so I have included the kit in the sale of the car.
