Uma Thurman in The Avengers
Was a bit bored this evening, flicking through Sky Guide, spotted The Avengers. Saw Uma was in it so I thought, why not.
How can a film with Uma, Ralph Feines, Shir Shean Connery and Eddie Izzard be such utter dross The "highlight", and that's stretching the term, was about 20 minutes from the end with Uma in a skin tight black leather catsuit. God that woman must have bionic nipples because they were doing their best to drill through a couple of millimetres of leather. I'm just glad I had a full bottle of red to myself. I just wished I had the motivation to turn over. What a waste of good talent

One of those films that should never have been made.
Patrick MacNee IS Steed, no-one else.
The Avengers was also "of it's time" and to take it out of the 60s/70s is missing the point and wrong.
IMO you cannot beat The Avengers circa Emma Peel/Diana Rigg era.

I can see why I'd not heard of it, I take it it sank without trace at the cinema. If I hadn't been half cut and lusting over Uma, it would of been off. Certainly on my list of films I won't ever watch again, in fact, I'm ashamed of myself for actually watching the whole thing.
This is whay I watched it all the way through, never mind.
