that's one big company to go under considering the quality of the parts and how well the name is respected

Doesnt surprise me as when I needed to get some replacement bulbs for my guages from them they wanted over £6 each for them ! Ended up ordering the same ones from Maplins for 30p each.
Their stuff is good quality, but with so many competitors selling much cheaper then it was probably only a matter of time.

Too expensive, generic products, paying for a name. Simple as that. HKS do a lot of that kind of bolt-on tat as well, where again you're paying for a name and it can be had a lot cheaper in Hong Kong i.e. Fuel Cut Defencers, turbo timers, air filters, intercooler kits etc.
