Bollocks, I should have gone out and watched this tonight.
Out of curiosity, hasn't the Croatia manager been linked with a move to West Ham and a few other Premiership clubs recently?
I'd not like to turn up with everyone hating me for beating England!
Oh look, a conspiracy theory.

Fantastic, capello got them playing right on top of the croats back four, and they had no reply. About time we had a manager who knows a bit about tatics, results matter and this man knows how to get them. I listened to joe cole on talk sport after saturdays game and he said capello tore into him and rooney for not keeping position (cole scored two) and tore into terry for not commanding more. Cole said none of the previous managers ever spoke to them like that. And it was exactly what they needed And look at the results fantastic

Strange thing to post I did say it was a good result. However, looking to the future and assuming we don't play against 10 men every game, I think James will be the weak link. I don't even think England played as well as they could have, but they won by 3 goals so that's a positive. At least we played better than we did last week, that match was awful.

James has been consistently the best English goal keeper for the last year. I cant think of a suitable replacement just yet. Experience in a goalkeeper is nessesary IMO as they need to know how to command their area.

I'd suggest Mikey from big brother, I can only see one problem though. He's Scottish

It's a fair point to make. The big European clubs would love to sign most of our outfield players, but they have never shown any interest in any of our goalkeepers, so that tells you something. We just don't produce world-class keepers any more, so the Premier League clubs keep bringing in foreign ones and the situation just gets worse.
We'll soon have Capello asking Ray Clemence to get his gloves back on at this rate.
