Council staff on the lookout for paedophiles have been ordered to stop and quiz any adults found walking in Telford Town Park without a child, it was revealed today.
Anyone who wants to go to the park but is not accompanied by at least one youngster will have to explain why they are there......

The Government has today attacked a controversial borough council policy to stop and quiz childless adults who were spotted in Telford Town Park.
The Home Office said Telford & Wrekin Council had no right to accost anyone innocently enjoying the park.
It also said the council could not demand Criminals Records Bureau checks on anyone not working with children or vulnerable adults.
But Telford & Wrekin Council bosses today said it was not a blanket policy covering the park but anyone seen acting suspiciously would be quizzed.....

So you are walking through the park as a cut through to get somewhere and because you are male, on your own, then some busybody (and lets not dress it up, that is exactly what they are) who needs to justify his job dreamt up by some other buffoons, has the power to stop you and enquire why you are alone and where are you going. And if they dont like the answers you can be thrown out and your details passed to the police
Bloody hell, I would hate to be a single male jogger, who is unfit and has stopped to catch his breath...
Typical over-reaction by some clueless officials mis-interpreting the guidelines. They are just jumped up traffic wombles in parks now

There is no way that these creepy officials should be allowed to suspect and interrogate anyone by assuming them to being a Paedophile just because of their presence in a public place of any kind.
This sort of thing can only spread if it is allowed as we enter further into NL's secret agenda. Eventually we will be beset with jackbooted individuals at every corner who can stop you and order you to produce your ID just because they feel like it.
You may dismiss that with scorn, but don't ever think it could not happen!

Public Swimming Pool - you need written authorisation from the Duty Manager of the leisure Complex, signed and duplicated, stating the day, time and your location in the pool when you might want to take a picture of your baby taking its first tentative swimming steps in case you inadvertently capture some other kid in the background of your picture. You have to fill in this form and they have the power to deny you permission to do so, which they always do.
School Play - you can argue until you are blue in the face that you just want to take a picture of your son/daughter in their first school play etc. They just wont allow you. If on the rare occasion you are, they will pull this privilege should one sole parent voice their objections even though this parent is only one of 400
And the list continues, what you cant do, where you cant go etc etc .
So it comes as no surprise that this is just a continuation of the same ****ed up, ill thought out policy of PC and over-bearing administration in this poor and sad country we live in.

Saw a couple of dodgy salesmen type guys at our local petrol station yesterday, taking some pics. God knows why they were doing that
The manager was so concerned that he forgot to take my money for the newspaper, and stormed off to give them a b*ll*king There were no kids there. Just some middle aged and old people like me filling their cars
