Apple new releases (Nano and Touch)

Nothing too amazing, although I quite like the 'shake to shuffle' feature of the new Nano.

They are available now for £109/£149 for the Nano and £169 -> £289 for the Touch.

I'm just downloading iTunes 8 and Firmware 2.1 for my (old) Touch.

What's the score with the new firmware, I have an "old" touch and I'm wondering what the new software brings to it..?

depends on what version of sw you have. You have to pay for it if you are not on 2.0 (a fiver). It brings the app store, free downloads, google maps etc etc

Not very much, the 'genius' feature seems to be about the only thing I can find. (if you don't have the 2.01 update it also gives you email, google maps, calculator and a few other things, but you'll have to pay $9.95).
