Wanna take the misses on a romantic weekend in the UK.

can anyone recommend a location and hotel?

Romantic as in be together and see lots of stuff enjoying each others company or romantic as in staying in and doing it loads ??

Dublin is like blackpool,with expensive beer...

There a hundreds of nice places to stay..Lakes,northumberland,some parts of Yorkshire and Derbyshire..

Anything Below Brum cannot be classed as "romantic"..

For the pure romantic factor you can't get much better than renting an isolated cottage in the middle of nowhere with a roaring log fire and a fantastic long distance view of the sun setting over the sea

You need a cottage with Velux windows in the roof of the bedroom so that you can lay in bed and look at the stars, lovely

We're renting a cottage at New Year (north wales God help us!) and they do deliver complete meals to you.

I can't help but think the idea of renting a weekend cottage is the best bet

This is the place I had in mind when I posted that: The Old Croft House which is on the Isle Of Skye but there are lots of similar properties all over the country. Just do a Google for holiday cottages and start looking through the various sites...
