You need to narrow it down - posh and nice or just plain dirty?

Is the "play room" too much...?
Pelirocco Bedrooms

Dublin is like blackpool, with expensive beer...

There a hundreds of nice places to stay..Lakes,northumberland,some parts of Yorkshire and Derbyshire..

Anything Below Brum cannot be classed as "romantic"..;)

For the pure romantic factor you can't get much better than renting an isolated cottage in the middle of nowhere with a roaring log fire and a fantastic long distance view of the sun setting over the sea :thumb:

You need a cottage with Velux windows in the roof of the bedroom so that you can lay in bed and look at the stars, lovely

+1

We're renting a cottage at New Year (north wales God help us!) and they do deliver complete meals to you.

I can't help but think the idea of renting a weekend cottage is the best bet

Ray_li 30 August 2008 01:17 PM

somewhere in Scotland please:thumb

Scoobychick 30 August 2008 01:18 PM

This is the place I had in mind when I posted that: The Old Croft House which is on the Isle Of Skye but there are lots of similar properties all over the country. Just do a Google for holiday cottages and start looking through the various sites... :)
