It's an awkward one this, bit I wouldn't dismiss any part of people committing sickening acts like this as not being an illness at all. It's an illness of the mind. I think there has to be something inherintely (sp) wrong within a person to go out and do such things, whether they get pleasure form it or not. It's not normal.

Just because some people have the view that it is an illness, doesn't mean they are justifying his crimes. Possibly offering an explaination, but that is different to justifying what he does.
