Most people from Swansea are decent cyclists from robbing and getting away quick

Superb performance too, I watched it this morning. The horrendous rain was like home from home.

I felt a rigth clown watching the swimming this morning - I was watching the girl in second (British) and saw her losing place(s) and thought - "Ah well, another typical British 'plucky' try"

Completely failed to see the lass in 5th coming flying past! I had to look twice at the results to realise she'd won!!!

19 years old as well - two more Olympics for her then.

We're doing quite well, two already with more chances ahead, Nicoles was also the 200th medal won by team GB since the start of the Olympics, way back when.

Go team GB!

She even gave them a big head start on that last hill
Though if she doesn't stop smiling soon her face will set like that.

A great achievement that will hopefully inspire the rest of the GB team.

Looking forwards to seeing Wiggers, Cavendish, Pendleton, Hoy and the rest get cracking in the velodrome later in the week

One of the benefits of being off work at the moment

First final in the velodrome, gold for GB in the mens team pursuit

All the rides I've seen so far have qualified in top spots too
