A great reason not to vote Conservative...
I knew something was missing, and know thanks to our glorious leaders (and leaders to be), I now know what it is, NOT ENOUGH HUMAN RIGHTS! Yes, thats right! Problems in this country are down to the fact we dont have enough rights. The article says...
" The Joint Committee on Human Rights said the bill should go further than current human rights legislation....."
The right to handouts for example "The Bill would also encompass Britons' social and economic rights, including the right to health, housing, education and an adequate standard of living, the report said."
" The Conservatives have said they would bring in such a bill to replace the Human Rights Act."
Not one mention of the word responsibility In this particular case, this goes to show how the Conservatives will be just like any other crap Government - DONT VOTE FOR THEM

Dont get me wrong - I wouldn't vote for any of the big 3 parties - and this shows why. They all have the same (bad) ideas, nothing radical amongst the lot.

"The bill should give greater protection to groups such as children, the elderly and those with learning difficulties, it said in a report."
so what should we do pack them all off in boats and aim that at france or somewhere.

Human rights is a good thing.
However, there needs to be stronger controls on the people that abuse it: It is obvious (to you and I) that someone who breaks the law also loses some of their rights and shouldn't be claiming abuse of their rights and wasting everyones money and time.

I don’t think that there is one political party in existence that is going to make everyone happy and agree with their decisions!
Still think that all politicians regardless of political beliefs are just in it for what they can get themselves and the higher up in the party the worse they are.

Sadly, the electorate of this country are easily bribed. A one off payment of about 150 quid (fuel allowance for single parents with kids - ok ok all parents with kids ) seems will do the trick.

My list includes most of the labour government, traffic wombles, the guys who build traffic calming measures, all the BB house and the producers of said program etc. This list is not exhaustive !!

It does say that the people would have greater protection against unwarranted intrusion by the State and also against the loss of civil liberties. But would it get rid of the PC Plonkers and their attempted destruction of this country?

How come life seemed infinitely better before the Human Rights Act was adopted and also pre CCTV in your bathroom?
I probably am 'middle England' but no way do any of the main 3 parties have a hope in hell of securing my vote

They are talking about having inquests held by someone appointed by the authorities and the results being kept secret if the death could be politically embarassing now! Another dangerous move.
