Best thing for cleaning a TV screen?
Just gone to put the TV on and its got lots of baby hand prints all over it
Looks like the wife has had all the local toddlers round for a big meeting and they have all been learning to stand up using my TV screen
So how can I get it super clean and crystal clear? Its a sort of plastic instead of the usual glass can I just use windolene on it?........

Warm (not wet) cloth with detergent: not too much detergent either. If its not jammy then you might be better off with a duster and a lot of spray polish.

Just chuck a bucket of water over it
I've got a magic cloth supplied by Samsung that you just slightly dampen with warm water. That works a treat on both of my LCD boxes.
Or you can buy a cloth and a spray from Comet that is supposed to work miracles.

Anything from JML equals money down the drain in my experience. My work sells their cack, and I've always waited until it's reduced as much as possible plus my discount, in the vain hope something actually works.... never happened yet, but it flies off the shelves. As soon as an advert is on TV, floods of people are asking if we have it, regardless of whether we were even on the advert.
Back to question, I'd try a damp cloth, probably microfibre as they usually don't leave bits of fluff. As Tam says vinegar is a good cleaner for these surfaces, not sure but I think household white vinegar might isn't as smelly as the stuff you put on chips.

Damp cloth, microfibre is usually best, then use a dry cloth or I use window cleaner.
Don't use polish on tv screens or windows, thats how you get marks and cant get rid of them.

Never use furniture polish on glass.
I bought some stuff from Staples for cleaning LCD PC Monitors, spray it on and wipe. At first it goes a bit foamy and you think it's going to make a right mess, but after a few seconds it clears up and dries with no smears. Cracking stuff, use it to clean my glasses now as well!

As Olly I use an anti-static foam cleaner (Fellowes). Terrific stuff which I use on screens, keyboards and glass e.g. my photocopier and scanner which I want really clean. dl
