Unbelieveable - how could a parent do this?

LONDON (Reuters) - A drunken woman motorist was stopped after her five-year-old daughter was seen banging on the windows of their car shouting "stop mummy driving", police said on Tuesday.
The woman, who has not been named, was found to be four times over the legal drink-drive limit when she was breathalysed in the Falkirk area on Sunday afternoon.
It is believed a member of the public intervened after spotting the distressed girl passenger.
"This motorist was prevented from causing serious injury to herself, her child and other road users," Chief Inspector Donald McMillan of the force's Road Policing Unit said in a statement.
"The child was in an extremely distressed state and we are thankful the incident didn't result in serious injuries."
The incident was one of a dozen drink-drive cases reported by local police as part of a summer safety campaign.

That's pretty fekkin grim by any standard, but i'm surprised any five year old would have the wherewithal to realise their parent was driving badly or dangerously or above the limit?

Sad all round.
If i am driving the kids - i will not touch a drop. It is a rule i keep to.

And me for calling PSL a *******
Imagine if the person who got done was a jock pi$$head shirtlifter, would not even be able to mention it on SN before the SN Right-On PC police discended on it like a group of blind (or would that be visually impared) lesbians walking past a fish market on a hot sunny afternoon
Bring on the infraction, i must have offended at least one of the SN PC plod!

But the infractee knew it was me, I done it with his blessing to see if I got a major trouser explosion, needless to say it didn't feel exiting at all!
