£7k for something you gonna take to the park and get mugged with?!

and the ******* will go and sell it for a bag of stash!

I paid £80 brand new for mine on ebay. I kept it cheap and cheerful, so when politely asked by a nice member of the public with a knife in his hand i can hand it over without much grief!

Last bike I had was when I was 17 (10 years ago). Was out oneday enjoying october evening when this nice getleman came to me and asked if he can borrow my bike, I refused so he decided it was in both of our interest that he takes his knife out, slashes my arm then threatens to stab me right on my heart...he got away with my bike, chain and some loose change!

Didn't touch a bike since then.

I suggest that bikes are not the source of your problems.
