WHATS THE FASTEST CAR YOU HAVE EVER OWNED? HOW FAST/BHP?
#1
As title, includes your current car.
Pls put up approx bhp/mods etc etc etc
Also company cars and cars you would regularly drive but not nesecerally (sp?) own (ie rally/race cars).
Or even any test drives (interesting ones- ie really giving it some )
Im sure this would make good reading for all of us
Cheers

A my99 with magnex bb and itg panel filter (approx 235bhp we think)
not that quick u may think but after a 1.25 fiesta it was supersonic!!
i loved the fact every part of the car worked in perfect harmony to re-shape my face under full acceleration

Renault 5 Turbo 2 (Mid engine)
Race spec motor chucking out approx. 400bhp !
Drop the clutch at 5K and watch the front rise, great wheelie !
6ft Flames out the back thru' the on-off Devil pipe.
Great fun !!
Wrote it off by driving into Alcatraz nightclub in Bournemouth.
Ah ......... those heady days of the late 80's !!
Also had a R5 GT Turbo that had 240bhp, that was interesting !
Drive safe,
Darrell

I was a passenger in a 391bhp Nissan Skyline GTR33 it would leave my scooby and every scooby I have been in, in second gear have also been in a 351bhp scoob which would be a good contender.
I know what the title is but this is more interesting trust me

Mine is fairly standard, however friend does currently own one of the quickest R33s in the country at 650bhp ( dynoed ) it should top 200mph since that rolling road th epressure has been increased to 1.8 bar and and expected 710plus should be achievable.
Now that is quick.. and believe me it is scary on the rd...

Faestet car ever owned: P1 (282bhp dynoed as standard but about to fit SS downpipe and HKS Hiper ).
Fastest car driven: TVR Tuscan (This was standard but would love to try the Tuscan S).
Scariest and loudest car I have ever been in was a restored Jaguar E-Type, 5.3 litre V12 with a full race exhaust uprated carbs and various other mods. Only car ever been in which never went in a straight line It was also bright yellow!

Top speed wasn't that great, but 0-60 in 4.1 and 165 bhp at the flywheel...
Austin Mini
Offset Bored 1380cc block
Standard pistons, rods and crank.
"Stage 3" ported and gas flowed head.
Oversized "rimflow" inlet valves.
oversized sodium exhuast valves
stronger valve springs, forged alloy rocker gear
race spec camshaft
RC40 High flow exhaust.
Weber 45DCOE sidedraught carb, both barrels with ram pipes.
Aldon Yellow distributor, with Lucas luminition electronic ignition mods.
It was a very funny car: could take on almost anything in town and wipe my butt with them.

Owned - current scoob around 245bhp
Driven - not sure which was quicker but have driven Ferrari 360/456/550 around Kemble. I think the 360 was a fraction quicker around the circuit.

Been driving since 1978, so driven loads of stuff, some interesting but mostly old crap, especially in the early days, so won't bore you with the list
Fastest - Tyrrell F1 car at Mallory Park in 2000 (Jonathan Palmer's race car from 1988). 600 bhp, 500kg, 0-60 3 seconds, pulling about 165mph down the pit straight. And the best bit? it was a freebie, paid for by Autocar

552Bhp (Engined Dynoed) Escort Cossie (Shame it's an unreleible piece of cr4p!!)

My Yamaha R1 was pretty quick as well, just too dangerous hence why I sold it (Zero self control on two wheelsLOL!!)
