Morning peeps. I'm helping out a pal who is compiling a list of famous lawyers in the UK (some kind of research). The Michael Mansfield types who earn a squillion pounds a case and rescue poor old punters like Paul Mcartney from the clutches of a greedy woman (although I think he had a woman lawyer?). Need ones that featured in the last 12 months. Just need names and maybe a trial that featured.

Tried Google of course but not much joy so far. A list of the top 20 earning legal bods would be great but I can't find one. TIA. david

Nick Freeman is probably one of the ones you'll hear about most from car enthusiasts - "Mr Loophole" is well known for a number of high-profile motoring cases, finding creative ways to get various celebrities off driving bans that, realistically, they probably deserved.
